If your team has any questions regarding the registration deadline or timelines for payment, please contact us at

Cianci 7s is hosted at the Water Lane fields at 650 Newman Ave, Seekonk, MA 02771.

Ample parking is available onsite - parking is free for players.

Cianci 7s has been hosted by local senior club and Beast of the East organizers, Providence Rugby, for twenty-three years. Over that time, Cianci 7s has become a fixture on the rugby calendar, bringing college sides from throughout the Northeast to Rhode Island for a fun and competitive day of sevens.

Cianci 7s is a one day tournament. Any collegiate men's and women's sides are welcome to play in our competitive and social brackets.

And finally... Why Cianci? Well, why not? Your hosts are from Providence, Buddy Cianci was the Prince of Providence, and and Cianci 7s has the alliteration we're looking for. We're pretty sure Buddy didn't play rugby, but he's synonymous with Providence (for better or for worse, depending on your pov) and so are we!
